 UKIP believes in the right of the UK to govern themselves, rather than be governed by unelected bureaucrats in Brussels (and increasingly, in London and even local government). UKIP as the fourth political party is the only one that provides a radical and fresh alternative. We believe in the minimum necessary government which defends individual freedom, supports those in real need, and takes as little money as possible from the people and doesn’t interfere in our lives. We believe in democracy devolved to the people, through national and local referendums on key issues, so that laws are made with the people's will, not the fads of the political class. We believe that the government of the UK should be for the people, by the people - all the people regardless of their creed or colour – of the UK. UKIP says Listen to the people. What do you say? UKIP needs a platform at Local level so that the party may demonstrate that its policies and work in the community becomes known and respected by the local electorate. But, to do this we need financial assistance or assistance in kind. Even if you don’t want to join UKIP or the UKIP Swindon Branch you may support UKIP policies.
