Adrian Costello is the UKIP candidate for Shaw

Adrian Costello lives in Eastleaze
Age 45
Occupation: Power Electronics Service Engineer

Adrian has been living in Swindon all his life and has been a resident of Eastleaze for over 22 years.  As a candidate to represent the people of Eastleaze and Shaw, Adrian had this to say. “I am proud to be a Swindonian and I want the best for our diverse mix of cultures.

By integration and working together we can make our community a better place to live, work and play. As a councillor I will strive to serve you on local issues such as anti-social behaviour & loneliness by encouraging support for our local community groups”.

Heritage
Maintain our local Heritage by objecting to all planning applications to build within the Essential Setting of Lydiard Park.

Family
Support local families by the re-opening of our children’s centres and encourage funding for these facilities.

Litter/Recycling
Help to tackle the litter problem in West Swindon by addressing local firms such as mobile fast food chains and hand car wash outlets to provide adequate waste disposal.

Personally campaign to bring back the recently removed large recycling bins at our local centres if financially viable.

Anti-social behaviour
Help to tackle anti-social behaviour by encouraging more PCO’s/Bobbies on the beat and promote support for our local community groups.

Parishing
I do not condone the new parishes and I’m appalled the increase in council tax will push more into poverty. The funding shortage from central government could be made up by scrapping folly's such as HS2 and ensuring large corporate firms pay their tax.
