Haydon Wick Ward 2018
Ed Gerrard
"Now retired, I have lived in Woodall Park for 26 years. My working life was as an electrical engineer for various multinational companies. As a serving Haydon Wick parish councillor, I believe that local issues must always come before party politics.
North Swindon's increasing housing development places heavy pressure on our local road infrastructure and needs to be urgently addressed. The collapse of the Library Service in Swindon is unforgivable and needs to be properly supported by additional monies, the cuts have gone too far.
Swindonians want to feel proud of its community, street cleaning should be introduced to give this pride. A Street rubbish collection should at least take place once a year."
